VISA REQUIREMENTS

The UAE Swimming Federation will provide an entry visa to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for all the participants of the World Cup.

Visa requirements for entering UAE vary for different nationalities and it is always advised to check regulations before traveling. Currently, every nationality entering the UAE needs a visa except citizens of GCC countries (Gulf Cooperation Council: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia), expatriate residents of the GCC (certain nationalities and professions) and citizens from countries mentioned in the chart below.


Visa On Arrival

Citizens of the following countries do not need to obtain a visa prior to entry if the duration of stay is less than one (1) month:

Other Nationals

All other nationalities can apply for an entry visa free of charge before entering the UAE at the World Cup’s website Registration Page or by sending your request on the Team Summary Form along with clear passport copy, passport photo by email (visa@uaeswimming.com). Please note that the passport needs to be valid for at least 6 (six) months from the date of entering UAE. Visa applications will be accepted latest by 15 September 2011 and will be processed only for approved and accredited participants.
