Airport Meet & Greet

Meet and Greet Service will take place at Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 & Terminal 3, there may be occasions whereby we will require  volunteers at  Terminal 2

Role  
Welcome all the athletes and officials to Dubai and the FINA  Arena Swimming World Cup
Liaise with the Team Liaisons and transport personnel
Assist the athletes and officials to their transport
Distribute  information on Dubai


Availability:           
04th – 06th October 2010 (you must be available for all 3days as unfortunately we cannot accept anyone who is cannot commit to the duration) 
Timings:  0600-1200  1200-1800 1800-2400 2400-0600

Volunteer Profile: 
Friendly, sociable, enthusiastic, customer service oriented, willing to help and meet the needs of the athlete, VIP’s
Good communicator, flexible attitude, works well under pressure
Good knowledge and understanding of English  is a must,  Arabic and other languages a distinct advantage
Knowledge of Dubai International Airport would be an advantage

 

Welcome Desk-Hotels

Welcome Desk at The Movenpick Hotel-Oud Metha Rd & Holiday Inn Express, Airport  Rd

Role                       
Welcome all the athletes and officials to the Hotel,  Dubai and the FINA  Arena Swimming World Cup
Distribute information on the Hotel, Swimming World Cup, Transport and Dubai
Assist and liaise with the Team Liaisons and transport personnel

Availability:           
04th – 09th October 2010 (you must be available for all 5days,  unfortunately we cannot accept anyone who is cannot commit to the full duration) 
Timings:  0700-1200  1200-1700 1700-2200

Volunteer Profile: 
Friendly, sociable and customer service oriented, willing to help and meet the needs of the athlete and officials
Good knowledge and understanding of English  is a must,  Arabic and other languages a distinct advantage
Be a good communicator

 

Spectator Services Venue 

Meet and Greet the Spectators and Athletes at the Venue

Role
Welcome the spectators to the venue
Assist and direct the spectators to their seats
Man the information and lost and found booth
Hand out information on the venue and World Cup

Availability
6th - 8th October 2010 (you must be available for all 3 days of the unfortunately we cannot accept anyone who is cannot commit to the full duration)
Timings:  0830-1330  1530-2100

Volunteer Profile
Friendly, sociable and customer service oriented, willing to help and meet the needs of the spectators and athletes
Good knowledge and understanding of English  is a must,  Arabic and other languages a distinct advantage
Be a good communicator, flexible in your approach, well organised  and efficient

 

Team Liaison

To be the main contact for the durations of the teams and athletes stay in Dubai

Role
Meet & Greet the team/athletes at their hotel
Liaise and assist the coach and team leader in aspects of the teams/athletes stay
Make sure the transport is on time
Brief the coach and team leader on the venue and Dubai

Availability  (depending on when the teams/athletes arrive)
Approx 6th-9th October 2010 (you must be available for the duration of the teams stay, unfortunately we cannot accept anyone who is cannot commit t)
Times:  Depending on the teams/athletes you are looking after

Over 21 years
